FSK School Library
As a hub of knowledge and inspiration, our library plays a pivotal role in supporting academic excellence, fostering a love for reading, and empowering students to explore the world of information and ideas.
1. Three Wings:
The library is organized into three distinct wings to cater to the diverse needs of our students:
- • Wing A (Course Books): This wing houses a comprehensive collection of course books aligned with the curriculum requirements of various subjects and academic levels.
- • Wing B (Reference Materials): Wing B is dedicated to reference materials, including encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, and other resources that support research and deeper understanding of topics.
- • Wing C (Archival Materials): Wing C preserves and showcases archival materials, providing students with access to historical documents, manuscripts, and artifacts that enrich their understanding of the past.
2. Dedicated Library Lessons:
To promote effective library use and information literacy skills, every class at our school has dedicated lessons for library use. During these sessions, students learn how to navigate the library catalog, locate resources, conduct research, and critically evaluate information.
3. Access to Diverse Materials:
Our library offers a wide range of materials to cater to varied interests and learning needs. Students have access to newspapers, journals, literature books, and examination materials, allowing them to engage with current events, explore diverse perspectives, and enhance their academic studies.
4. Automated Cataloging and Circulation:
In line with modern technological advancements, the cataloging and circulation of library materials have been automated. This streamlined system improves efficiency, facilitates easy access to resources, and enhances overall service delivery to our students and staff.
5. Capacity:
The library has a capacity to accommodate up to 260 individuals at a time. Whether students are seeking a quiet space for focused study, collaborating on group projects, or simply relaxing with a good book, the library provides a welcoming and conducive atmosphere for learning and exploration.
Through our school library, we aim to ignite a passion for reading, promote critical thinking skills, and empower students to become informed, engaged, and empowered members of society.
