Key Responsibilities

The Senior Master Academics oversees various academic initiatives and programs, including:

• • Curriculum Implementation: We work collaboratively with teachers and administrators to develop and implement a dynamic and engaging curriculum that aligns with educational standards and best practices.
• • Coordinating Revision Programs of Candidates: We coordinate revision programs for candidates preparing for examinations to support their academic success. These programs may include review sessions, practice exams, and study groups to reinforce key concepts and enhance exam readiness.
• • Teaching and Learning Support: We provide support and guidance to teachers to enhance their instructional practices and promote student engagement and achievement. This includes facilitating professional development opportunities and sharing effective teaching strategies.
• • Assessment and Evaluation: The Academic Office ensures that examinations are set in a timely manner and meet rigorous standards. We oversee the assessment and evaluation processes to ensure fair and accurate measurement of student learning outcomes.
• • Dealing with Academic Discipline/Indiscipline: We address academic discipline and indiscipline issues in accordance with school policies and procedures. Our goal is to maintain a positive and conducive learning environment that fosters academic integrity and personal responsibility.
• • Academic Planning and Reporting: We participate in academic planning activities, such as scheduling, and academic policy development. We also prepare reports on academic performance and trends to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
• • Student Academic Support Services: We coordinate academic support services to assist students in achieving their academic goals. This may include tutoring and academic counseling.
