Academic Support
Academic Support Program

The school is committed to providing comprehensive academic support to ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential and achieve academic success. Our Academic Support Program is designed to cater to the individual needs of students, offering targeted interventions, guidance, and resources to support their learning journey.

Key Components:

  • 1. Support for Weak Students: Recognizing that every student has unique strengths and areas for improvement, we have dedicated programs in place to help improve the performance of weak students. Academic counseling sessions are conducted, involving meetings with subject teachers, parents, and Senior Masters to discuss strategies for academic improvement.
  • 2. Specialized Subject Sessions: Weak students receive personalized attention through special sessions with teachers in specific subjects where they may be struggling. These sessions provide additional instruction, practice opportunities, and immediate feedback to address areas of difficulty and enhance understanding.
  • 3. Academic Clinics: To further support student learning, academic clinics are organized for every class level, from Form 1 to Form 4. During these clinics, parents have the opportunity to meet with subject teachers alongside their sons to discuss academic performance, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate on strategies for success.
  • 4. Targeted Interventions: In addition to individualized support, our Academic Support Program includes targeted interventions such as peer tutoring programs to equip students with the tools and strategies they need to excel academically.
  • 5. Continuous Monitoring and Feedback: We believe in the importance of ongoing assessment and feedback to track student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly. Teachers closely monitor student performance, provide regular feedback on assignments and assessments, and offer guidance to help students stay on track towards their academic goals.
  • 6. Parent Engagement: Parents are valued partners in the academic journey of our students. Through regular communication, parent-teacher meetings, and involvement in academic clinics, we ensure that parents are actively engaged in supporting their child's academic development and success.

By providing tailored support, fostering a collaborative learning environment, and empowering students to take ownership of their learning, we aim to cultivate confident, resilient, and successful learners who are prepared to thrive in their academic pursuits and beyond.
